No previous experience is necessary, we teach right from the basics to more complex methods (from how to use a knife safely to making a Bechamel sauce). We take bookings from individuals and couples or if you want to get a few friends together we can take small group also. We take all ages from 16 upwards. Unlike other cookery courses with individual catering school style workstations, every day you prepare and cook breakfast, lunch (kids meals), afternoon tea and a three course evening meal including a vegetarian option in a REAL CHALET KITCHEN and sit down to dine with your guests, just like you will in your chalet. During the day there are theory sessions covering all the important things you need to know. This is truly THE MOST AUTHENTIC CHALET COOKERY COURSE available.

The Duke of Edinburgh´s Award Gold Award:

Our course could count for the Residential section of your Gold DofE Award. The course aims to fulfil the aim of the Residential Section “to broaden young people´s experiences through involvement with others in a residential setting.” The requirements of the Residential section are “To undertake a shared activity or specific course in a residential setting away from home and in an unfamiliar environment.” We have had many people on the course over the years who were completing their DofE Gold Award. On completion of the course, we will be happy to write an Assessor Report in your Keeping Track Booklet. Please always ensure you check with your Leader before you book the course that they are happy that it will count for your Residential Section. There is a £50 discount for DofE participants.
